La Verda comes from an upcycled Berber rug, handmade on a wooden loom. La Verda is a green bomber jacket with patterns in blue, red, pink, yellow and white. It's also soft from the inside, with a 100% cotton lining making the jacket easier to pull over a shirt, breathable, and more comfortable to move in. For these reasons, sleeves are carefully lined in all jackets we offer.
The green colour is widely used in the Berber / Amazigh culture as a symbol of fertility, prosperity and happiness.
Hand-to-heart, its unique weaving reflects the meticulous patience and attention to details of the Amazigh / Berber women, in the Atlas mountains of Morocco.
La Verda has also side pockets.

Did you know ?
The name Berber came from the Greeks, who generically called all North Africans “barbarians”. To say the least, it's not the real name of the Amazigh people, thought it got widely spread and commonly misused. The name they chose for themselves was the "Imaghizen", which means “free people” or “Noble ones”. Its singular form is "Amazigh".
